I tried to upload some cute videos but it was taking waaay too long. So here are a few pics instead.
Emptying the bathroom cabinets is a daily occurance around here but this was the first time I'd actually found her inside the cabinet!
Char's showing off her new pj's that my mom made for her. They're a little big right now but they'll fit better in no time!
My good friend Wendi and her family were moving from Nebraska down to Texas and got to stop and stay the night with us on their way. To be fair to Wendi, this pic was taken at about midnight the night they came in after about an eight hour drive (plus all the pre-move stuff they had to deal with before leaving).

Ice days at home with Char
So I've spent the last three days stuck at home with Charlotte during the ice storm and all of it's clean-up. Our power has been spotty but we've had more than a lot of homes around here so I'm thankful for that. Here are a few pics of the neighborhood.

Christmas 2008
Such a sad face for such a pretty girl! Char got sick just before Christmas so she wasn't feeling well the whole time. That didn't stop me from trying to get a few pictures though.
Char's checking out her loot
Here's the giant Care Bear Val and Jonathan got for her.
Me and my baby!
Chris was so excited to put together his new toy!
Out of all her new toys, this My Little Pony from the Happy Meal seemed to be her favorite for the day.
Playing with Grandma!

Thanksgiving 2008
We spent Thanksgiving with my family at Petit Jean State Park in Arkansas. Charlotte went on her first hike down to the water falls and of course got more bday presents.
Her first little camping chair from grandpa and Rody the bouncing horse from grandma

Charlotte walking
This was on her birthday, November 21. She had been taking a few steps at a time but it seemed like that night she just wanted to get up and go. Since then, she's been unstoppable!
